WEEKEND BIBLE STUDY

Parents, it's our mission as the children's and youth leaders to partner with you in helping you to prepare the next generation to be fully devoted Christ disciples.  We know you are busy so we are here to help.  During this time of social distancing, concerns about the pandemic, having to work from home, home school and the like we created this packet in hopes that it will make it easy for you to shepherd your child(ren).  

Below are links to all of the elements we typically include in our times together at church

PRAYER FOCUS

"Keep on asking  and you will receive what you ask for. .." Matthew 7:7 NLT

Ask your child to pray (or pray with your child) about the following concerns:

• For every essential worker our country
• For the scientist who are working on finding a cure for the virus
• Thank God for hearing and answering our prayers

Bible Story Card -  Use these cards to review the lesson connections and content. Ask the Big Question or create your own!  Talk about the importance of forgiveness and share a personal example.

Journal Page- Use this to discover how to extend the lesson at home. 

PRESCHOOL 

Activity Page - Find the Bibles.  You can use a pencil  or crayons for this activity.

Coloring Page - You'll need your crayons or markers.

Honoring MOTHER'S 

We want you to honor your mother.  Share a picture (and maybe even a short note/quote) we will  place it in one of the templates below and post to our Greenhouse social media throughout  Mother's Day weekend. Email your photo to joyce.holmes@elizabethbaptist.org by 5/8/20.

Ask your child to pray (or pray with your child) about the following concerns:

• For those who are working with people who have the CONV 19 virus
• For people who have lost their job during this virus
• For you and your family
