Children's Bible Study - April 5, 2020

         WEEKEND BIBLE STUDY

Parents, it's our mission as the children's and youth leaders to partner with you in helping you to prepare the next generation to be fully devoted Christ disciples.  We know you are busy so we are here to help.  During this time of social distancing, concerns about the pandemic, having to work from home, home school and the like we created these packet in hopes that it will make it easy for you to shepherd your child(ren).  

Below are links to all of the elements we typically include in our times together at church.

PRAYER FOCUS

"Pray without ceasing."

 (1 Thessalonians 5:17)

Ask your child to pray (or pray with your child) about the following concerns:

• Thank God for sending His Son Jesus to be our Savior
• Thank God for your family - name each one 
• Talk to Him about what you are concerned about

Bible Story Card -  Use these cards to review the lesson connections and content. Ask the Big Question or create your own!  Preparation is important in everything we do.  Look for ways throughout your day to talk about it.

ELEMENTARY

Journal Page - Use this to discover how to extend the lesson at home. Ask them to draw a picture on the page of the disciples and crowd worshiping Jesus with palm branches.
Create a memory verse card for Romans 6:9 "Christ was raised from the dead, and will never die again" add it to your memory verse box.

PRESCHOOL

Coloring Pages - Activity Page you will need crayons or markers for this section.

PRAISE & WORSHIP

This weeks challenge: Learn this song  Hosanna!  (a segment is okay too)  Post your moves.
